The mana loss on a resisted SW:P is pretty ugly, but the resulting damage buff lets them return more mana/hp to the group, which is its own reward on top of higher DPS. Shadowpriests get similar advantages with resisted ticks from mindflay and SW:P applications. They easily recoup that loss and mana is becoming less of an issue for them. A DoT lock only loses 1.5 seconds of GCD on a resist and a single tick of a DoT. I could see shadow priests and locks using it. I'm not supporting AM builds in any way, but if you happen to be using it, this trinket would be worth testing.

I'd go for a lightning capacitor over it though for AM. If you're already working well with arcane missiles in a raid, this trinket can probably up your damage. You'd need to cast just as many times to get your lost damage back.Īrcane missles - is probably ideal if you want to use this trinket as a mage, since a resist off a single pulse will more than likely proc it. Scorch - just as unforgiving since you only get 43% of the damage buff each cast. It would then take ~10 fireballs cast with this trinket to make up for that lost damage. This has a 100% drop chance for any Warlock specialization.Kommentar von 46188Why this trinket seems terrible for a mage, by a mage:įireball - A resisted fireball means 1900+ damage is lost. The Memory of Sacrolash’s Dark Strike required by the Runecarver that allows you to create this drops from Torghast, Tower of the Damned, specifically from the Skoldus Hall wing when completed at or above layer 3.
